Our Staff
Simon Renault | General Manager
Simon grew up in Brittany, France, in a family of cider makers. His 98 year old grandmother still refuses to drink water. At 28, he came to the US to study permaculture. After some time on the West Coast, Simon moved to Vermont, where for 10 years, he ran Sun Hill Farm, raising sheep and growing vegetables. Simon joined the Scott Farm team as General Manager in the Spring of 2020. There, he shares his passion for building a thriving ecosystem of people, plants and business.
Erin Robinson | Orchard Manager
Erin was born and raised in Dummerston, Vermont. She has worked at Scott Farm for over a decade in various capacities and became the Orchardist in 2021. Her connection to the Dummerston area goes back generations and she holds a deep love for the land and community on and around Scott Farm. She currently lives in Dummerston with her two sons.
Tesia Hoszkiewicz | Operations & Bookkeeping
operations@scottfarmvermont.com
Tesia was born and raised in southern Vermont, where apple picking was a birthday tradition she looked forward to each year. After a decade in global operations, she rooted herself into a more local role here at Scott Farm in 2024. She is inspired daily by her love for the farm and the joy it brings to others.
Suzanne Tessitore | Events & Pippin’s Café Manager
Having grown up in NY, Suzanne spent much of her life visiting family in the Brattleboro area before making it her home in 2010. She spent the past 25 years in the food business, first owning a catering company in NYC, then the Guilford Country Store for nearly 10 years. With a deep desire to continue working in the community, Suzanne joined Scott Farm in the summer of 2023, running Pippin’s Café. Since then, she has also become Events Manager at the farm as well as overseeing reservations at The Landmark Trust USA. She says she has worked in many beautiful locations, but nothing beats the beauty of Scott Farm!
Tom Kuralt | Maintenance Guru
Tom does a little bit of everything! He learned many of his skills working alongside his father as a young boy. Tom started at The Landmark Trust USA more than 20 years ago as a carpenter with his uncle, restoring the Amos Brown House. That fateful project turned into a career working at Landmark and Scott Farm. Tom is a lifelong resident of Brattleboro, Vermont, and is married with three beautiful daughters. His interests include camping, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Betsy Bates | Official Greeter
a.k.a. “Scott Farm Betsy” helps greet visitors to Scott Farm. She lives on the farm and is the eyes and ears of Scott Farm and we love her for it!
