Crêpe Night - Green Mountain Camp

  • Scott Farm 707 Kipling Road Dummerston, VT, 05301 United States (map)

Crêpe Nights are seasonal gatherings, held regularly throughout late Spring and Summer at Scott Farm. These are times to celebrate the harvest, good simple food, great music, and community in a stunning setting – picnic style. Outdoor and indoor tables and chairs are provided as well as a sprawling grassy hillside ripe for picnic blankets, folding lawn chairs, and bare feet. The seasonally focused menu includes a salad, savory supper crepe (galette), and sweet dessert crêpe.

Each dinner is co-hosted by a different local non-profit who benefits from the evening’s proceeds. This week we support Green Mountain Camp, with music provided by Zara Bode. Green Mountain Camp's mission is to empower girls to believe in themselves and their ability to make a difference in the world. They make an effort to do everything they can to welcome girls from all backgrounds to camp, and they believe that providing a safe place for girls to create, grow, and have fun is especially important for children who do not have a safe place elsewhere. Their camp serves many girls in the local Brattleboro and greater Windham County community, who rely on scholarships to attend camp. They will use the funds from Crêpe Night to go towards their scholarship fund. To watch a short documentary about the camp, click here.
